In October 2011, Mark Burling through the ownership of Workhorse Group Pty Ltd acquired Workhorse Recruitment and Workhorse Safety from Workhorse Recruitment Pty Ltd and continues to provide all Employment Services, whether Permanent Placement or Labour Hire and Consulting services for Occupational, Health & Safety requirements for Business.
The Workhorse Group will maintain the Recruitment arm as an established leading recruitment agency for all industries.
Workhorse have also expanded their services over the past two years to include a comprehensive coverage of their local regional area, based in Toowoomba, in the provision of a Total Human Resource Services to General Industry. An emphasis has been placed on the Industrial and Processing Sectors, specialising in Labour Hire and Permanent placement services.
Workhorse group will build on this success with an expansion of its services form the Workhorse Safety division to include a comprehensive Business Consultative service network throughout Regional Queensland and NSW. The Consultative services focus on Workplace Health & Safety and Quality Assurance.
Mark Russell-Burling - Director
Mark Burling has a vast background in both recruitment and logistics industries. Mark continued in logistics industry for 7 years until making a career move into Business Development Sales in Recruitment. This progressed into developing a National Recruitment company becoming the National Business Manager and Director. Mark has also held State and Regional Management positions within the Industry for a number of years.
Mark has moved into ownership once again with his wealth of knowledge in all aspects of Recruitment Services and Labour Hire from industrial relations to executive placements with him being one of the most experienced large labour hire providers.
Mark also specialises in Indigenous Employment for Governments, Mining & private enterprise as he has a strong community focus with a strong focus on closing the gap.

Jeremy joined Workhorse Pty Ltd in 2012 with many years of experience within the Building & Construction industry. Specialising in executive and industrial recruitment, Jeremy has extensive knowledge and experience in client relations, and has exceptional people skills. Ken Murphy has previously managed and coordinated Workplace Health & Safety in QLD and other areas across Australia including Northern Territory, New South Wales, Western Australia and South Australia. Ken has an extensive experience across a wide range of industries with up to 20 years of safety experience. Ken prides himself on complying with relevant laws to ensure a cost effective and practical outcome for our employers and employees.
